Role Overview

We're on the lookout for a proactive and experienced Financial Accounts Executive to join our team.
If you’ve had a few solid years working on budgeting, forecasting, and financial operations and you're excited by the idea of being hands-on, driving improvements, and working closely with the management, this might be for you.

This is a sole contributor role, perfect for someone who’s not afraid to roll up their sleeves, take ownership, and help shape how we build our finance processes from the ground up. 

Responsibilities:

As our Financial Accounts Executive, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day financial operations — from managing AR and AP to keeping our General Ledger sharp and up to date. We're looking for someone who’s detail-oriented, hands-on, and ready to keep things running smoothly while helping us stay financially sharp as we grow.

  • Oversee the entire finance scope, including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Inventory and General Ledger (GL).

  • Maintain records of the company's transactions according to standard procedures or policy stipulated. 

  • Prepare and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and compliance to reporting and procedural standards.

  • Conduct deep dive analysis on month-end results in comparison to forecast, plan and prior year.

  • Ensure timely year end and month end closing.

  • Prepare audit and tax schedules.

  • File GST return.

  • Assist with yearly preparation of budget and review of forecasts, ensure all expenses are within the assigned project budget.

  • Identifying areas of cost-reduction to maximize profit.

  • Manage and maintain company assets and administration files.

  • Perform payroll duties.

Requirements:

  • Possess a Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) with a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience

  • Meticulous with a proactive working attitude with a solutions-focused mindset, showing attention to detail and the ability to anticipate potential issues

  • Excellent oral and written communication

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, allowing you to effectively interpret financial data and address challenges.

  • Prior involvement in Retail/Ecommerce sectors is an advantageous factor.
