Responsibilities
Finance
- Maintain full set of accounts in compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Execute daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, accruals, general ledger postings, and bank reconciliations to support financial accuracy and integrity.
- Prepare and submit quarterly GST returns to meet regulatory deadlines and ensure compliance.
- Manage month-end closing processes, including reconciliation of e-commerce transactions, and prepare comprehensive financial reports such as Trial Balance, Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, and Cash Flow statements to inform business decisions.
- Develop and provide audit schedules to facilitate efficient external and internal audits.
- Review and process staff claims for Singapore and India subsidiaries to ensure compliance and timely reimbursement.
- Apply for and monitor government grants and subsidies to optimize financial support and maintain regulatory compliance.
- Liaise with bankers, corporate secretaries, tax agents, and overseas counterparts to coordinate compliance and filing matters effectively.
- Manage overseas subsidiary and intercompany transactions to maintain accurate consolidated financial records.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities by providing accurate financial data and analysis to guide strategic planning.
- Perform additional finance-related duties as assigned to contribute to overall financial management and business growth.
HR Administration
- Maintain and update employee records and HR databases to ensure data accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with regulations.
- Process payroll and staff allowances in compliance with statutory regulations to ensure timely and accurate compensation.
- Administer employee benefits and enrollment processes to support workforce wellbeing and engagement.
- Perform additional HR-related duties as assigned to support efficient HR operations and organizational effectiveness.
Required competencies and certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Proven 1-3 years experience in finance with knowledge of full set and general accounting procedures
- Familiarity with applying for government grants and managing compliance requirements
- Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software (e.g., Auto Count)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
