Description
Objective / Summary of the Position
Identify, secure, and develop new business opportunities in Singapore and Southern Malaysia to drive overall company and network growth, working closely with the reporting superior and the regional BD/Commercial team.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Drive strategic planning and cross-functional collaboration to translate the company’s vision into actionable business development and commercial strategies.
- Client & Market Alignment: Serve as a key liaison between the company and its customers, ensuring product offerings and market positioning are aligned with client needs and business goals.
- ·Go-to-Market Execution: Lead the design and implementation of critical go-to-market strategies, processes, and initiatives that enhance market reach and competitiveness.
- Partnership & Growth Enablement: Build and maintain strong internal and external partnerships to foster collaboration, promote effective communication, and accelerate business growth.
- Revenue & Data Management: Oversee sales forecasting, pipeline management, and performance analysis to provide data-driven recommendations that support revenue generation and target setting across the Asia region.
- Financial Accountability: Assume full P&L responsibility for key markets under your charge, ensuring profitability and sustainable business growth.
Responsibilities
- Degree preferably in Marketing, Business, Commerce, Economics, Finance, Management, Communications, Logistics or Aviation related disciplines
- 8 years or above relevant working experiences, preferably in business development, business management, sales development, account management, marketing, commercial, or related areas
- Relevant working experiences in third-party warehouse logistics (3PL), e-commerce logistics related industry, freight forwarding, etc. will be highly preferable
- Working experiences or exposure in international market or Singapore market will be a plus
- Experience in the Cold Chain and Pharmaceutical sectors will be advantageous.
- Immediate available is highly preferred
- Background in a commercial strategy role and proven leadership track record in an ecommerce or logistics capacity.
- In a management consulting, cross-border ecommerce background is a plus
- Strong business intuition: breaking down business problems into the key levers and digestible next steps
- Demonstrated analytical and conceptual thinking skills - can identify and track KPIs to monitor the health of a business or product
- Proven project management skills, with success owning complicated cross-functional programs and projects to timelines around common goals
- Ability to craft compelling presentations, and able to relay information in a seamless way.
- A strong work ethic and ability to navigate and thrive in fast-changing work environments. You are a self-starter and enjoy building teams and processes from ground-up.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and consistently demonstrate a high proclivity for excellence
- Manage and influencing stakeholders is a plus.
