Overview
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Head of Marketing to build and lead the marketing function from the ground up. This role will be instrumental in shaping the company’s brand, positioning, and market narrative while supporting business growth in a highly technical, B2B environment.
Key Responsibilities
Brand & Positioning
Build and establish a strong, differentiated brand from the ground up
Develop clear corporate positioning, messaging frameworks, and market narrative
Ensure consistency of brand voice across all internal and external communications
B2B & Account-Based Marketing
Partner closely with business development teams to drive pipeline growth
Design and execute account-based marketing (ABM) strategies targeting key clients
Develop targeted campaigns to support high-value enterprise sales cycles
Technical Translation & Content
Translate complex technical concepts (e.g., data centre infrastructure, capacity, and operations) into clear, compelling business language
Oversee creation of high-quality content including presentations, website copy, press releases, and thought leadership materials
Maintain high standards across all marketing and communication assets
ESG & Corporate Communications
Develop and articulate ESG and sustainability messaging aligned with corporate strategy
Support corporate reputation building through strategic communications and storytelling
Crisis & Stakeholder Communications
Manage crisis communications and sensitive external issues with sound judgment
Serve as a key advisor on communication strategies for high-impact situations
Requirements
Proven experience in building a brand or marketing function from scratch, preferably in a new or scaling organization
Strong background in B2B marketing, ideally with exposure to account-based marketing strategies
Ability to simplify and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Experience in corporate positioning, messaging, and strategic communications
Familiarity with ESG and sustainability frameworks and messaging
Demonstrated experience handling crisis communications and external stakeholder management
Strong content development skills with attention to detail and high quality standards
Preferred Background
Experience in data centres, infrastructure, technology, or related industries
Experience working in fast-growing or international environments
Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
