Job Summary
Develop and execute a long-term category vision aligned with retailer strategies and shopper insights. Lead channel strategies and trade investments to drive growth and profitability while building a high-performance team and strong partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Develop and communicate a compelling long-term vision integrating category goals, retailer strategies, shopper insights, competitive landscape, and market potential to align and motivate stakeholders.
- Execute channel frameworks across modern trade, distributive trade, and digital commerce by analyzing shopper missions, defining segmentation, and implementing a 6Ps strategy to win in every channel.
- Build and foster a high-performance team culture and collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders to translate category and channel objectives into actionable joint business plans.
- Establish and maintain strong, influential relationships with key strategic partners to position TMICC as the preferred partner for category management collaboration.
- Drive shopper engagement by focusing on excellent fundamental execution, disrupting shopper purchase paths, and winning at key touchpoints in every store served.
- Strategically redesign trade investment plans by channel to optimize resource allocation, delivering growth, profitability, and alignment with strategic priorities.
- Apply big-picture thinking to assess situations, make logical and confident decisions, and influence others to align with strategic directions.
- Develop team capabilities in data-driven decision making, net revenue management, digital commerce, and digital marketing to future-proof the team and ensure a strong leadership succession pipeline.
Required competencies and certifications
- Proven people management capabilities.
- Strong customer-facing experience with a demonstrated track record.
- More than 9 years of business experience, preferably with diverse exposure in Distributor, Modern Trade, Customer, and Channel Development (Customer Strategy and Planning).
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Marketing experience.
- Critical success factors including analytical thinking, leadership, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
