Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Head of Sales to lead the overall sales and commercial function in Singapore, with a primary focus on driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and ensuring sustainable profitability across all channels, including Modern Trade, General Trade, e-Commerce, Food & Beverages, and Commercial Food Manufacturing / Processors. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, cultivate strong partnership among existing clienteles to promote our sustainable and eco-friendly tableware and food packaging solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute sales strategies, lead Annual Objective Planning (AOP), forecasting, and budgeting, and identify growth opportunities across all channels, ensure sustainable and profitable business expansion.
Deliver sales targets and ensure achievement based on Objective and Key Result (OKR).
Lead the sales team, including KAMs, BDMs, and field sales personnel, establish clear actionable plan based on OKR and performance tracking.
Drive online sales performance across e-Commerce platforms, optimize assortment, pricing strategies, and promotional planning.
Ensure alignment between offline and online commercial strategies.
Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and pricing dynamics across both retail and B2B segments, identify risks and growth opportunities.
Collaborate with Supply Chain on demand planning and forecasting, with the aim to improve forecast accuracy and supply alignment.
Monitor and manage debtors ageing status, ensure timely collections and healthy cash flow.
Job Requirements
Minimum 10 years of sales experience within the FMCG sector, preferably with experience selling food packaging products in Modern Trade, General Trade, e-Commerce, Food & Beverages, and Commercial Food Manufacturing / Processors.
Proven track record as Head of Sales, with the ability to lead and motivate the sales & marketing team to achieve set OKR.
Goal oriented, decisive and influential communicator with high accountability. Capable in assisting sales team to close sales deal and demonstrate ‘can do’ attitude.
In depth knowledge of other functions, inclusive of demand planning, product development, key finance indicator and marketing strategies.
