Job Summary
This position reports to the Head of IT at the brand headquarters located in Singapore.
Responsibilities:
Oversee IT infrastructure team, managing all aspect of IT on-premise and cloud infrastructure, Store-front and back-office IT matters, CCTV, Biometrics, IT asset management, Cyber-Security, etc
Ensure smooth daily IT operations and zero downtime for critical applications and server room
Build, lead and manage a team of IT professionals, vendors and outsourced resources, while working closely with other IT teams, countries, brands management and group management to achieve targets
Manage IT budget and monitor CAPEX/OPEX expenses and spendings
Provide IT best practices and propose and justify necessary improvements & tools to existing process flows, daily work flows and analytical data.
Formulate and establish IT policies and best practices while complying with group requirements and audits
Project manage and support management initiatives and visions
Spearhead and lead R&D projects for continuous improvement on existing workflow, tools and systems.
Assist and subsidiaries in their daily IT operations, store opening renovations, and POS/ ERP/ CRM/ eCommerce projects
Requirements:
Degree or Diploma in Computer Science or a related field with at least 8 years of relevant experience, including 3 years in a managerial role.
Hands-on experience in Hyper-V virtualisation, Azure/AWS Cloud Computing, Network Infrastructure, Server Room and Server Farm administration, Microsoft 365, Sharepoint, Teams, etc
Must have work experience managing team in Retail and/or F&B industry and understand the dynamic job nature within the industry
Must have experience in all IT aspects of store opening and renovation projects
Must have experience in building and administrating M365 eco-systems, namely Exchange, Sharepoint, Teams, One-drive, Planner, Power-Automate, etc
Must have project implementation experience in one or more of the following systems – POS, ERP, Business Intelligence, eCommerce
Knowledge or work experience in technical solutioning and development will be advantageous
Good communications and problem-solving skill
Team player and be independent in executing work-related jobs.
Proficient in written and spoken English. Ability to converse in Chinese or French would be advantageous to communicate with stakeholders in the China and French-speaking markets.
Occasional travelling required
