【About the Role】
Yamato Transport Singapore is at the forefront of revolutionizing "International Express" services between Singapore and Japan. As our business expands rapidly, we are looking for a "Solution Maker" rather than a traditional sales hunter.
In this role, you will be the bridge between our clients’ business needs and our operational excellence. You will not only acquire new accounts but also design logistical frameworks, solve operational bottlenecks, and eventually oversee P&L for your accounts. This is a unique opportunity to work directly under the Head of Department and play a key role in scaling a new business pillar.
【Key Responsibilities】
Strategic Solution Design: Propose tailored International Express solutions to E-commerce businesses and Japanese corporate clients.
End-to-End Case Management: Take full ownership of new projects, from initial consultation to ensuring smooth operational flow.
Operational Problem Solving: Identify and resolve logistical challenges specific to each project to maintain high service standards.
Stakeholder Liaison: Communicate and negotiate directly with Yamato Japan to align on shipping quality, regulations, and operational schemes (requires Japanese proficiency).
Digital Integration: Leverage digital tools, AI, and API integrations to optimize client shipping processes and internal efficiency.
Business Growth: Focus on securing recurring shipments (subscription-based business model) and contribute to the department's profitability.
【Requirements】
Language Proficiency: Business-level Japanese (JLPT N2 or above) is essential to communicate effectively with our counterparts in Japan.
Digital Literacy: High proficiency in PC skills (e.g., Data handling, analysis, Power Query) and a proactive approach to using AI and digital tools for productivity.
Problem-Solving Mindset: A "can-do" attitude with the ability to navigate complex logistical challenges.
Communication: Strong presentation and negotiation skills to build trust with high-profile clients.
Experience (Preferred): Knowledge of E-commerce logistics, API integration, or import/export operations is a plus, but a willingness to learn is more important.
