Job Description
About the Role
If you enjoy working with fashion but are looking to move away from weekend retail shifts, this role offers the opportunity to work in a structured office environment while still being closely involved with fashion products.
You will be part of the team responsible for evaluating and preparing pre-loved fashion items for resale, ensuring quality and presentation standards across both online and retail channels.
This role is particularly suitable for individuals with retail, fashion advisory, or visual merchandising experience who have a strong eye for product condition, presentation, and quality.
What You Will Do
Process incoming clothing items, evaluating them for acceptance based on condition and quality.
Sort, grade, and assess fashion items according to established company standards.
Prepare accepted inventory by tagging and categorising it for resale.
Help maintain the accuracy and quality of our inventory across all sales channels.
Support the supply of inventory for both our e-commerce platform and physical retail stores.
Coordinate the transfer of inventory from our office to retail locations to ensure timely stock replenishment.
Assist with daily operational workflows and general inventory management tasks.
Leverage AI tools to help identify potential quality issues or categorise items more efficiently.
Provide a friendly and professional service experience to sellers dropping off their items.
Keep the workspace clean, organised, and conducive to efficient operations.
Support other operational or administrative duties as needed.
Qualifications
Who This Role Is Perfect For
This role is ideal for candidates who:
Have experience working in fashion retail (e.g. Zara, H&M, Pomelo, Love Bonito, etc.)
Have worked in visual merchandising or product handling
Have a strong eye for clothing condition, quality, and presentation
Want to move into a Monday–Friday office role with stable hours
Enjoy working with fashion products behind the scenes
What You Will Need
Fluency in both spoken and written English is essential.
You are highly detail-oriented with excellent organisational skills.
You can work effectively in a fast-paced operational setting.
Strong time management and problem-solving abilities are key.
You are proactive, reliable, and work well as part of a team.
Experience in fashion retail or visual merchandising is a definite advantage.
Familiarity with using AI-powered tools for operational support will be beneficial.
Prior experience handling and assessing used clothing, particularly women's fashion, is helpful.
