Description
This role is accountable for end-to-end campaign outcomes, from strategy and planning through execution, optimisation, and reporting, in a fast-turnaround, client-facing agency environment.
This role bridges client objectives, creative execution, and measurable performance, ensuring campaigns are delivered on time, on budget, and aligned with agreed KPIs.
Key Responsibilities
1. Digital Strategy & Client Advisory
Lead digital marketing strategy development across assigned client accounts.
Translate client objectives into platform-appropriate, measurable digital plans.
Advise clients on channel mix, formats, budget allocation, and timelines.
Present recommendations, performance insights, and optimisation strategies clearly and confidently.
2. Campaign Leadership & Delivery
Lead end-to-end digital campaigns across social, search, paid media, and content.
Manage fast-turnaround campaign timelines and concurrent workstreams.
Prioritise deliverables based on impact, urgency, and resource availability.
Ensure campaigns are launched on time and aligned to agreed scope and objectives.
3. Performance & Optimisation Ownership
Define campaign KPIs with clients upfront.
Monitor live performance dashboards during active campaigns.
Optimise targeting, formats, content, and spend in real time.
Identify underperformance early and implement corrective actions.
4. Paid Media & Budget Management
Own paid media strategy, budget pacing, and efficiency.
Make data-driven decisions to scale, pause, or reallocate spend.
Manage and evaluate external media vendors or platform partners where applicable.
Ensure cost efficiency and performance accountability.
5. Creative & Production Collaboration
- Develop clear, insight-driven creative briefs for designers, editors, and producers.
- Ensure creative concepts are aligned with platform logic and performance goals.
- Balance creative ambition with production timelines and constraints.
- Close the feedback loop between creative outputs and campaign results.
6. Reporting & Stakeholder Communication
Deliver concise, insight-led performance reports.
Translate data into clear narratives, learnings, and recommendations.
Build and maintain client trust through transparency and clarity.
Support account teams in client reviews and presentations.
7. Team Leadership & Capability Building
Guide and mentor digital marketers and social media specialists.
Set best practices for campaign setup, optimisation, and reporting.
Identify and introduce new tools, platforms, and AI-enabled workflows.
Build repeatable frameworks to improve delivery speed and quality.
