The Logistics Manager will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end supply chain operations, including warehouse management, transportation coordination, and customer fulfilment. This is a senior leadership role requiring strategic thinking, operational discipline, and strong team management capabilities. The successful candidate will drive efficiency, cost optimisation, and service excellence across all logistics functions.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Operations
• Develop and implement logistics strategies aligned with business goals and growth targets
• Plan and manage end-to-end logistics operations including warehousing, transportation, and customer fulfilment
• Direct, optimise, and coordinate the full order cycle from procurement to last-mile delivery
• Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
Supplier & Stakeholder Management
• Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers to ensure seamless supply chain operations
• Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to secure competitive rates and reliable service levels
• Collaborate with internal departments including sales, marketing, and finance to align logistics with business needs
Inventory & Warehouse Management
• Oversee inventory control, ensuring accurate stock levels, minimising shrinkage, and optimising storage utilisation
• Arrange and maintain warehouse layout, catalogue goods systematically, and enforce safety and compliance standards
• Monitor quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery timelines, transport costs, and operational efficiency
Performance Management & Reporting
• Define, track, and report on key logistics KPIs including cost-per-unit, order accuracy, on-time delivery, and fill rates
• Maintain metrics and analyse data to assess performance, identify trends, and implement data-driven improvements
• Meet targets for cost control, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness as set by senior management
Team Leadership & Development
• Lead, mentor, coach, and develop the warehouse and logistics workforce to build high-performing teams
• Conduct regular performance reviews, set clear objectives, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
• Manage staffing levels, shift scheduling, and workload distribution to meet operational demands
Problem Resolution
• Proactively identify and resolve logistics-related issues, delays, or customer complaints in a timely manner
• Implement corrective action plans and root cause analysis for recurring operational problems
Requirements & Qualifications
Education
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline
Experience
• Minimum 5 years of proven working experience as a Logistics Manager or in a senior supply chain role
• Demonstrated track record of successful distribution and logistics management at scale
• Experience in e-retail or e-commerce logistics management will be a distinct advantage
Technical Skills
• Proficient in standard logistics and warehouse management software (WMS, TMS, ERP systems)
• Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret logistics data and generate actionable insights
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements, customs procedures, and import/export compliance in Singapore

• Demonstrable ability to lead, manage, and motivate multi-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent problem-solving, organisational, and decision-making skills
• Strong negotiation and communication skills with suppliers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams
