THIS IS A 2-YEARS RENEWABLE / CONVERTIBLE CONTRACT ROLE

We are seeking a Communications professional with experience in Content Development to join the project development team for the upcoming NS Gallery (NSG).

You will work closely with Strategic Communications POC in the team and the appointed agency, and serve as the point person to strategise and coordinate all marcomms content production matters, ensuring that all creative deliverables are produced to specification, on schedule according to the overall comms calender and aligned with the Gallery’s strategic messaging and audience engagement goals.

Aside from this primary job scope, additional responsibilities include overseeing and coordinating matters with vendors and stakeholders relating to the operationalisation of Atrium display of Large Platforms assets from the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) and the Home Team.

The ideal candidate is an experienced Communications professional with a strong track record in content production, project management and multi-stakeholder liaison, and have the ability to anticipate production needs and proactively addressing challenges. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a nationally significant gallery and shape how its story is shared with diverse audiences.


Job Description

1) Serve as the primary point person for all marcomms content production activities from strategy to delivery.

  • Coordinate internal and external stakeholders e.g. from the SAF and Home Team for schedules and production workflows.

2) Drive the development of marcomms content for the Gallery’s digital presence, online engagement, events and programmes.

  • Produce and manage calendar of digital content for the year.

  • Produce and clear content for NSG socials and website.

  • Clear and guide agency’s development of content for NSG socials and website; vetting and providing input to creative briefs from agency, ensuring feasibility and alignment with the messaging, audience engagement goals, and the Gallery’s brand standards.

  • Based on approved target audience outcomes, ensure that content is relatable and relevant to NSG’s target audiences.

3) Work closely with Strategic Communications POC in the team and the vendor to ensure that content production timelines are met and deliverables are cleared with management and ready for publishing per plans in the comms calendar.

Additional Responsibilities:

4) Coordinate the operationalisation of Large Platforms Display at NS Square. Includes tracking and managing the timelines and budget for key atrium workstream such as transportation and rigging of the platforms, design & build of the atrium and the atrium’s light and sound show.

  • Work with the vendor to facilitate the pre-installation planning, coordination, movement, and subsequently on-site management of installation of complex logistics of military platforms. This includes working closely with the SAF and Home Team departments to ensure that their assets are refurbished on schedule and fit for showcase.

  • Have oversight and facilitate coordination between multiple stakeholders mainly between NS Square Project Office (NSPO) and vendor for the design and build of the atrium and light and sound show at the atrium, ensuring that related spatial and experiential elements proposals from the vendor are aligned with the overall objectives.

5) Secretariat for key operations and plans meetings between NSPO, NSG, DCS and other vendors – includes raising agenda, tracking outstanding issues, minutes and post-meeting follow-ups and coordination. The project manager is also expected to escalate issues where necessary and in a timely manner to prevent downstream impact on the overall completion of project.

Challenges:

 This role requires strong proactiveness and ambition to deliver a world-class Gallery, alongside adaptability to changes. The successful candidate must help to position the NS Gallery to world-class standards, building strong public interest in both the physical Gallery experience and its online presence. As the project is underway, priorities and plans may evolve, requiring the ability to adapt quickly while remaining responsible, timely and collaborative. The role also involves working with various stakeholders across agencies and partners, requiring sensitivity to differing perspectives while maintaining clarity of purpose and ensuring the Gallery’s objectives and requirements are met.

Job Requirements:

  • Educational Requirements: Degree in Communications or Marketing with a keen interest in Singapore’s social and military history.

  • The jobholder should preferably have minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in coordinating content production for exhibitions, events or campaigns with experience managing multiple stakeholders and vendors for creative deliverables.

  • Familiarity with content formats: Photography, video, multimedia and interactive assets will be key. As is the ability to anticipate production needs and proactively address challenges.

  • The jobholder should have a strong command of both spoken and written English, with excellent communication skills to translate technical speak into persuasive messaging.

  • Possess excellent interpersonal and project management skills to work collaboratively with others.

  • Independent worker with strong problem-solving skills and comfortable in managing multiple moving parts.
