 Job Synopsis

We are seeking a Digital Marketing & Communications professional to join the project development team for the upcoming NS Gallery (NSG). You will play a key part in developing and executing the online presence and audience engagement for the NSG, with the key objectives of building audience awareness, strengthening online visibility and establishing sustainable digital operations for the Gallery.

You will be responsible for establishing and managing the Gallery’s digital presence, building it from the ground up. Working closely with colleagues overseeing strategic communications function, this role translates communication strategies and campaign plans into effective and world-class digital execution across website and social media platforms for the Gallery. In this role, you will also develop sustainable publishing workflows, maintain content quality and consistency in line with strategic messaging and engagement objectives, as well as brand guidelines.

The ideal candidate is a digitally savvy communications professional with experience in establishing and managing digital platforms to support campaign launches and has experience in translating communication strategies into practical digital execution.  Job Description

1.Drive and/or work with the appointed agency to co-develop and implement the digital platform strategy in alignment with the Gallery’s objectives and brand positioning.

  • Formulate and drive a comprehensive digital platform strategy with clear digital initiatives, roadmap and measurable KPIs for website, social media and related digital touchpoints to support the Gallery’s audience engagement and growth priorities.

  • Consult and coordinate with internal stakeholders on content and translate campaign objectives into digital execution in line with the comms calendar across platforms; and work with teams, stakeholders and vendors to establish a digital content workflow receive and publish digital content.

  • Oversee website integration with CRM, ticketing systems, analytics platforms and other enterprise systems.

  • Establish digital governance frameworks, policies and standard operating procedures.

  • Ensure compliance with internal governance, cybersecurity standards and data protection regulations.

  • Ensure system resilience, back up protocols and business continuity measures.

  • Monitor traffic, engagement user behaviour and conversion data using analytics tools to evaluate online content performance, to ensure optimal views and engagement.

  • Prepare regular performance reports and provide data driven recommendations to drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance user experience and platforms effectiveness.

2.Lead end-to-end development of the website development and management.

  • In charge of end-to-end website development, enhancements and revamps, from requirements gathering to go-live and post launch optimisation.

  • Oversee CMS configuration, information architecture, navigation structures, content taxonomy and metadata standards.

  • Ensure strong UX/UI principles for optimal user experience, accessibility compliance and mobile responsiveness.

  • Manage system maintenance, feature upgrades and bug resolution with appointed vendor.

  • Oversee integration with enterprise systems such as CRM, ticketing platforms, analytic tools and marketing automation systems.

3.Establish and manage official social media platforms as well as audience engagement.

  • Produce and clear social media content for NSG socials.

  • Clear and guide Agency development of content for NSG socials.

  • Develop guidelines, workflows and governance protocols and ensure compliance.

  • Ensure brand consistency and alignment across digital touchpoints.

  • Manage audience engagements, comments and interactions online.

Challenges:

This role requires strong proactiveness and ambition to deliver a world-class Gallery, alongside adaptability to changes. The successful candidate must help to position the NS Gallery to world-class standards, building strong public interest in both the physical Gallery experience and its online presence. As the project is underway, priorities and plans may evolve, requiring the ability to adapt quickly while remaining responsible, timely and collaborative. The role also involves working with various stakeholders across agencies and partners, requiring sensitivity to differing perspectives while maintaining clarity of purpose and ensuring the Gallery’s objectives and requirements are met.

Job Requirements

  • Educational Requirements: Degree in Communications or Marketing with a keen interest in Singapore’s social and military history.

  • The jobholder should have minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in marketing communications, public/media relations or related fields. Experience working with agencies and/or managing website and social media platforms for campaign launches is highly desirable.

  • Strong knowledge of website CMS platforms, social media and publishing tools and understanding of digital content formatting, accessibility and digital formatting principles. Competencies in interpreting analytics data to improve performance and reach.

  • The jobholder should have a strong command of both spoken and written English, with excellent communication skills to translate technical speak into persuasive messaging. Strong organisational and project management skills are also key to this role.

  • Possess excellent interpersonal and project management skills to work collaboratively with others.

  • High attention to accuracy and brand consistency

  • Work independently in a build-from-zero environment and comfortable with multi-tasking and tracking and driving multiple workstreams concurrently.
