About the Job
Reporting to the Team Lead (Medical & Health) – Consumer Propositions, you will be working on medical and health propositions to support the company in delivering their product rollout for both long-term and short-term strategic directions and business needs.
You will have the opportunity to work on medical and health product lines (e.g. Integrated Shield plans and supplementary plans, hospital cash plans, long term care products, etc.) across our distribution partners (including agency, bancassurance and direct sales channels).

Job duties
Managing short-term objectives (via products, campaigns and ad-hoc requests)
Assist in the upstream product development cycle in a timely manner to ensure smooth rollout of products (from conceptualising product prototypes aligning with consumer propositions, to obtaining product approvals and to preparation of marketing materials)
Engage relevant stakeholders from implementation team in downstream discussions (from communicating proposition intent to implementation team, to working with implementation team, to ensuring products are launched accordingly to the timeline)
Improve on clarity of the policy contracts, reviewing and simplify complex policy language to ensure it is easily understood by customers and stakeholders. This includes rewording technical terms into plain English, restructuring sections for logical flow, and creating concise summaries where necessary. Collaborate with legal, compliance, and other stakeholders to ensure that simplified documents remain accurate, compliant, and reflective of the product's intent.
Seek and incorporate feedback from both internal teams and end-users to continuously enhance the accessibility and transparency of the policy contract, supporting better customer understanding and satisfaction.
Prepare product documentation including Product Write-Up, Policy Contract, Product Summary and any other customer documents (where applicable).
Able to handle product queries from internal / external stakeholders and resolve product distribution and implementation issues.
Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards relating to product requirements (including MAS, MOH and LIA), as well as company-wide policies.
Innovations: Future proofing for the longer-term strategic directions.
Assist in competitive analysis for medical and health product lines to have a good understanding of the company's strengths and weaknesses vis-a-vis competitors' product.
Assist in the preparation of groundwork leading up to the research and deep diving into strategic directions set for the Consumer Propositions Team.
Assist in the prototyping of propositions and conduct consumer research to obtain insights and feedback.

Requirements
Tertiary education qualification in Actuarial, Insurance, Finance or Marketing related disciplines;
4 - 5 years of relevant experience, ideally in product development will be a plus;
Good understanding of the insurance market in Singapore and the on-going trends;
Possess strong traits of analytical mind, meticulous and good communication skills to articulate ideas in a simplified and laymen manner to stakeholders;
Open-minded, curious and driven to explore new ideas and is able to think out-of-the box;
Excellent influencing and interpersonal skills, and comfortable to engage different stakeholders;
Action and project-oriented individual with focus on improvement and change and ability to work under pressure or tight timelines;
High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork,
Highly adaptable to embrace new changes.
