Mandarin Content Creator Role Overview
We are seeking a creative, trend-savvy, and bilingual Mandarin Content Creator to lead our brand’s presence within the Mandarin-speaking digital ecosystem. You aren't just translating content; you are translating culture. You will be responsible for conceptualizing, filming, and editing high-impact short-form videos and aesthetic and unique selling posts that resonate with Chinese-speaking audiences in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities
Brand Adaptation & Voice: Deeply internalize our brand’s guidelines and "vibe," then creatively adapt them into Mandarin content that maintains brand integrity while feeling locally relevant.
End-to-End Production: Lead the creative process from ideation and scripting to filming and post-production (editing, motion graphics, and subtitling).
Platform Mastery: Manage and grow our presence on platforms such as Xiaohongshu (Red), Douyin/TikTok, and WeChat, ensuring content is optimized for each unique algorithm.
Trend Tracking: Stay "chronically online" in the Chinese digital space to identify viral sounds, slang, and formats (e.g., "vlog-style" storytelling or "KOL-style" reviews) before they peak.
Copywriting: Write engaging, platform-appropriate captions in Simplified and/or Traditional Chinese that drive high engagement and community interaction.
Community Engagement: Actively respond to comments and messages to build a loyal community and gather audience insights.
Performance Analysis: Track KPIs (views, saves, conversion rates) and iterate on content strategy based on data.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Language: Native or professional fluency in Mandarin (written and spoken) and professional proficiency in English.
Technical Savvy: Expert-level skills in mobile editing apps like Jianying (剪映) or CapCut, and familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro or Lightroom.
Aesthetic Eye: A strong sense of "Xiaohongshu aesthetics"—clean layouts, trendy typography, and high-quality color grading.
Cultural Intelligence: Deep understanding of the cultural nuances, holidays, and consumer behavior of the Mandarin-speaking diaspora or Singapore market.
Experience: 1–3 years of experience in social media marketing or a proven track record as an independent creator (please provide a portfolio/handle).
Preferred "Bonus" Skills
Experience with AI-assisted content tools for faster production.
