About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and creative Marketing Executive (1-Year Contractual Role) to support our Marketing & Communications team in driving digital marketing initiatives for tertiary education programmes.
This role focuses on digital campaign execution, email marketing, content creation, and marketing support, helping to promote academic programmes, events, and institutional initiatives to prospective students and stakeholders.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in digital advertising, email marketing, social media management, and visual content creation, and enjoy working in a dynamic education environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Digital Marketing & Campaign Execution
Plan, execute, and optimise digital marketing campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and Meta (Facebook/Instagram).
Monitor campaign performance and provide basic reporting on key metrics such as impressions, CTR, conversions, and cost-per-lead.
Assist in A/B testing and optimisation of advertising creatives, copy, and targeting.
Support the implementation of tracking mechanisms (UTMs, pixels, lead forms) to measure campaign performance.
Social Media Management
Manage and update the institution’s social media platforms including LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram.
Develop engaging social media content including captions, visuals, and short-form videos.
Monitor engagement and respond to comments or messages where appropriate.
Maintain a social media content calendar aligned with marketing campaigns and institutional activities.
Email Marketing
Support the planning and execution of email marketing campaigns and newsletters to prospective students and stakeholders.
Create and format email templates, campaign content, and mailing lists.
Monitor email performance metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, and conversions, and suggest improvements.
Ensure email campaigns align with overall marketing initiatives and recruitment timelines.
Content Creation
Create and support the development of marketing content such as but not limited to:
Programme highlights
Student and alumni stories
Event promotions
Social media posts
Website updates
Marketing copy for digital campaigns and marketing materials.
Event Marketing Support
Provide marketing and logistical support for recruitment events, information sessions, webinars, and outreach activities.
Support event promotions through digital channels and social media
Support on-site event coordination when required
Manage student ambassadors for content creation
Design & Creative Support
Produce basic visual assets using Adobe Creative Suite (e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) for:
Social media posts
Event promotions
Digital advertisements
Ensure visual materials are aligned with institutional branding guidelines.
Requirements:
Education & Experience
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
1–3 years of relevant experience in digital marketing or marketing communications.
Experience in education marketing or student recruitment campaigns is an advantage.
Technical Skills
Working-level proficiency in:
Google Ads
LinkedIn Ads
Meta Ads (Facebook / Instagram)
Social media management tools
Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Canva
Familiarity with the following is a plus:
Marketing analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics)
Basic video editing tools
CRM or marketing automation platforms
