Description

We are seeking a creative, well-rounded and results-driven Marketing Executive to help build and amplify our brand from inside out, to implement marketing strategies for How I Care and have ownership over the promotion and sales of the How I Care Journal product. This role will combine content creation, digital marketing, brand development and sales support. The ideal candidate understands storytelling, community-building, and how to position purpose-driven products in meaningful ways. This person will advocate for social and self-awareness and personal growth. 


You will play a key role in growing our presence across social media platforms (inclusive of community engagement), managing website content, promoting our educational programmes, and with clear deliverables in sales growth of our journals and card game and brand engagement and visibility.

Key Responsibilities
Brand & Strategy

·       Support the development and execution of marketing strategies aligned with our mission and values


·       Strengthen brand voice, identity and messaging across all platforms


·       Help position our educational programmes and merchandise as tools for transformation


Content Creation

·       Create engaging, high-quality content (posts, reels, blogs, newsletters, campaigns)


·       Develop storytelling content around self-awareness, social awareness, and personal growth


·       Plan and manage a content calendar


·       Collaborate on photo/video shoots for journals and card games 


Digital & Social Media Marketing

·      Manage and grow our presence for our brands on Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Facebook, ensuring high engagement and growth of respective channels. 


·      Monitor trends and apply relevant strategies 


·      Engage with our community and build meaningful relationships


·      Track analytics and optimise performance 


Website & Digital Presence

·      Manage and update website content, layout, and design elements (blogs, landing pages, product descriptions) 


·      Support SEO initiatives to improve search visibility and organic traffic


·      Assist in executing email marketing campaigns and basic automation workflows


·      Optimise website user journeys and implement UI/UX enhancements to improve engagement and conversion rates


Community Management & Engagement: 


·      Build and maintain a vibrant journaling community, both online and offline.


·      Host or support journal-related events, challenges and wellness campaigns.


·      Encourage feedback and collect user stories to shape marketing direction.


·      Content Creation


·      Produce high-quality reels, infographics, photography, and video content. Strong video editing skills are essential, with the ability to craft engaging, polished, and visually compelling content


·      Create visually appealing content using Canva (Adobe Suite knowledge is a plus but not required). 


Merchandise & Product Procurement


·      Support sourcing, development and promotion of branded merchandise and educational products. 


Email Marketing & Copywriting


·      Develop and execute email campaigns to engage and nurture our audience while ensuring compelling and brand-aligned copy. 


SEO & Paid Ads


·      Implement and optimise SEO strategies and Google Ads campaigns to enhance online visibility. 


Event Management


·      Plan and execute marketing activations such as pop-up events and school workshops. 


Sales & Business Development Support

·       Support promotional campaigns to increase product sales


·       Identify partnership or collaboration opportunities


·       Assist in lead generation and conversion strategies


·       Contribute ideas for expanding merchandise and program reach


Qualifications & Skills

·      A marketing professional with a strong creative mindset and entrepreneurial spirit.


·      Ideal personal interest in promoting wellbeing (self and social awareness and personal growth) through reflective practices and connections with others.


·      Minimum 2 years’ experience in marketing and sales (preferably in wellness, education, or publishing sectors).


·      Experience running successful digital and affiliate campaigns.


·      Strong content creation and copywriting skills


·      Experience managing multiple social media platforms


·      Basic knowledge of digital marketing strategies and analytics


·      Website management experience (WordPress, Shopify, or similar CMS)


·      Understanding of branding and storytelling


·      Strong community engagement and communication skills.


·      Self-driven and able to manage multiple priorities independently.


·      Strong time and budget management skills. 


·      Highly creative with a proactive approach to problem-solving and campaign execution. 


·      Ability to work independently while also thriving in a collaborative team environment. 


·      Open to feedback and capable of following instructions effectively. 


·      Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. 


·      Experience promoting physical products (e-commerce experience preferred)


·      Sales experience or understanding of sales funnels


·      Basic design skills (Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar


·      Strong video editing skills (CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve)


Work hours

·      Weekdays between 09:00 and 17:30 hours


Other

·      Able to travel within the region as per company’s requirements and plans.
