About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic Marketing Manager to join our Energy portfolio team. In this role, you will lead the marketing strategy and execution for an oil & gas event, while also supporting the promotion of a large-scale international energy exhibition.
This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven marketer who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has experience delivering integrated B2B marketing campaigns that drive high-quality delegate and visitor attendance.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Campaign Management
- Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns to drive visitor and delegate attendance.
- Manage the full marketing lifecycle for the assigned event, from launch to post-event analysis.
- Work closely with the Event Director, Sales, and Content teams to align marketing strategies with commercial objectives.
Digital Marketing
- Manage digital marketing channels including email marketing, website content, paid media, and social media campaigns.
- Oversee SEO/SEM and performance marketing strategies to optimise campaign results.
- Track and analyse marketing performance metrics and continuously optimise campaigns.
Content & Communications
- Develop compelling content for marketing campaigns including newsletters, website copy, promotional materials, and social media.
- Collaborate with the conference team to promote the speaker lineup and conference agenda.
- Work with partners, media, and associations to amplify event promotion.
Stakeholder & Partner Marketing
- Build and manage marketing collaborations with industry associations, media partners, exhibitors and sponsors.
- Support exhibitors and sponsors with marketing toolkits and promotional opportunities.
Event Promotion & Brand Management
- Ensure strong brand positioning and messaging for the event within the energy and oil & gas sectors.
- Manage marketing timelines, budgets, and campaign reporting.
- Oversee creative development and marketing assets for campaigns.
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of experience in B2B marketing, preferably in events, exhibitions, or conferences.
- Experience managing integrated marketing campaigns across digital and offline channels.
- Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical mindset with experience using marketing performance metrics to drive decisions.
- Experience in the energy, oil & gas, or industrial sectors is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and copywriting skills.
