Job Summary
This position supports both global and local platforms and involves the implementation of digital sales, marketing, and logistics strategies across all of Bacha Coffee’s online marketplaces globally.
The objectives include driving net sales while maintaining luxury market positioning. This role requires understanding of online marketplace platforms, branding, digital marketing, performance marketing, and knowledge of online luxury retail and digital platforms.
Primary Relationships
The position reports to the eCommerce Manager.
Within the organisation, this position will assist with the conception of campaigns, and management of online marketplaces, and has primary working relationships with the Design, Public Relations, Marketing, Social, Operations, Finance, IT and Warehouse teams, as well as staff with similar roles within partner and franchise organisations.
Outside the organisation, the position coordinates primarily with vendors and service providers (enablers, advertising etc.) as well as partners (franchisees and subsidiaries) and customers from online marketplaces.
Responsibilities
Marketplace Management
Work closely with marketplace agencies to drive sales performance, content optimisation, and advertising efficiency across all marketplaces Bacha Coffee works with like Amazon, Lazada, Tmall stores, etc.
Set clear KPIs for third parties and agencies, monitor agency performance, and ensure timely delivery of campaigns, reports, and optimisations.
Provide strategic direction to agencies based on business priorities and market insights.
Manage and optimise marketplace storefronts to drive brand storytelling and product discoveryGuide overseas partners (both subsidiaries and franchises) for the management of their local marketplaces and vet their campaign mechanics
Sales & Performance Growth
Monitor daily and weekly marketplace performance (sales, traffic, conversion, ROI) and analyse data to identify growth opportunities and implement strategies to improve performance.
Plan and manage marketplace advertising strategies, including campaign structure, targeting, and budgets, while monitoring ROAS and optimising performance across all platforms.
Assist in the development and implementation of creative marketing plans aligned with the corporate strategy and brand image, across multiple marketplace platforms.
Collaborate closely with internal and external teams including Design, Marketing, Public Relations, Social, to develop and implement marketplace related collaterals and plans.
Manage project timelines of each marketplace campaign and new marketplace launches (including subsidiaries and franchises)
Ensuring marketing standards in each marketplace are adhered to and that marketing/design guidelines are respected by partners and marketplaces
Track customer reviews and feedback and implement solutions to improve customer experience and brand perception across all marketplaces
Operations
Support end-to-end inventory planning, including stock forecasting, placing replenishment orders, and coordinating closely with the Operations/Warehouse teams to ensure timely fulfilment and healthy stock levels across all marketplaces
Manage safety stock levels for peak sale periods (11.11, 12.12, Prime Day, etc.) to avoid OOS and overselling.
Assist in shipment tracking to ensure flow in self-run marketplaces
Conduct regular stock reconciliations between marketplace portals and internal systems to ensure accurate listings and availability. Stay updated, and sharing market trends, best practices and innovations, proposing ideas and initiatives and new marketplace potentials
Reporting
Prepare reports on the performance of all the Marketplaces managed by HQ
Ensure all partners prepare and submit timely reports to HQ regarding the performance of the Marketplaces they manage
KPIs
Achieve agreed GMV and revenue growth targets across assigned marketplaces.
Optimize product listings and conversion performance through pricing, content, and merchandising improvements.
Ensure high product availability and proper inventory management for all active SKUs.
Plan and execute marketplace campaigns and promotions in line with platform calendars and company targets.
Maintain strong marketplace store health and compliance, including ratings, customer feedback, and platform policies.
