Job description

Category Strategy & Implementation

• Partner with the Merchandising Team to roll out category strategies across multiple markets in the region.

• Ensure alignment with global objectives while adapting strategies to address local consumer preferences and market dynamics.

• Monitor category performance and provide insights to refine assortment planning and promotional initiatives.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Supply Chain, and Retail Operations to drive execution excellence.

Global Brand Operations

• Act as a key liaison between global surge brands and Asia markets to ensure smooth operational execution.

• Troubleshoot and resolve market-specific challenges such as logistics, regulatory requirements, or supply chain disruptions.

• Coordinate timelines and deliverables to ensure brand campaigns and product launches are executed consistently across Asia.

Incubation & Sourcing of Emerging Brands

• Support the sourcing, evaluation, and onboarding of innovative Asian beauty brands

• Conduct market research to identify upcoming trends and high-potential new entrants to enrich brand portfolio.

• Assist in negotiations and partnership development with potential new brand partners.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth incubation processes, from product selection to market entry.

• Contribute to driving product innovation by introducing fresh concepts and formats tailored to Asian consumers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.

• Experience in merchandising, buying, brand sourcing or category management is preferred

• Excellent analytical skills and demonstrated aptitude for working with numbers, with the ability to interpret data and develop actionable insights.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
