Description
Job Responsibilities:
Source for new products and responsible for product categories allocation.
Plan merchandise assortment considering category mix and range planning.
Analyse product pricing strategies and their impact on sales and margins.
Organise relevant information for negotiation with suppliers.
Liaise with suppliers on promotional activities and prompt delivery of stocks.
Develop strategies to manage slow-moving products and optimize sell-through rates.
Ensure timely replenishment of best-selling items to meet customer demand.
Monitor inventory levels to minimize overstock and markdown risks.
Collaboration with internal stakeholders across different departments to execute the promotion strategies in alignment with the product launches.
Provide feedback on quality and effectiveness of partnership.
Update monthly sell through analysis report, monitor stocks inventory, replenishment and stock aging.
Conduct market research to stay current with the market trend and competitor strategies.
Conduct regular store visits to ensure that Company's merchandising standards are met.
Plan and execute store promotions for renovations, openings, and closures, managing Back to School (BTS) orders for stores, and supporting offsite events to ensure smooth retail operations.
Assist in Events and Campaigns.
Assist with merchandising related administrative duties.
Perform any related duties assigned by the Reporting Officer as it deems fit.
Requirements:
Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or relevant fields.
Minimum 3 years of working experience in similar capacity and with proven track record of category management in retail.
Knowledge of SAP will be added advantage.
Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook.
