The Grab Commercial team oversees, shapes, and grows the merchant business in Grab Singapore. As part of the Grab Commercial team, you will help connect Singapore customers to a wide array of merchants. Join the Merchant Acquisition team, acquire and grow Grab's merchant network, bringing even more exciting brands, value, and options to consumers in Singapore!


Get to Know the Role


As a member of the Grab Commercial Singapore team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by acquiring, onboarding, and managing a portfolio of clients and maintaining a strong sales pipeline aligned with bi-monthly targets.


This role will report onsite at Singapore Grab office and will report into the Manager, Non ACE Sales & Ads.


The Critical Tasks You Will Perform



  • Serve as a product expert for all GrabMart and GrabPay related matters.

  • You will meet, pitch, and lead negotiations with assigned/prospective merchant leads to acquire and onboard them to Grab.

  • You will market and champion Grab's value proposition as the leader of choice for merchants.

  • You will build partnerships with merchants, managing their performance and contribution to the Grab merchant network.

  • You will be accountable for merchant activity and engagement throughout their onboarding journey.

  • You will stay informed about market knowledge, and competitor activity, to contribute to strategies that meet market changes and merchants' requirements.

  • You will develop an understanding of all products and services that Grab offers.

  • You will handle daily merchant queries (commercial and operational) and ensure a smooth onboarding and post-onboarding process.

  • You will work with the Account Management Team and other verticals (e.g. Phoenix, GrabAds, Partnerships) to align and cross-sell, enhancing the value Grab brings to merchants.
