This Sales Executive role is specifically to acquire merchant partners for the OmniCommerce business.
OmniCommerce is Grab's new umbrella of services, supporting restaurants' physical stores.
Our goal is to help restaurants on our platform drive sustainable growth by becoming their demand generation engine both offline and online, with a full suite of solutions - content & discovery, reservations, table management & ordering solutions, deals, loyalty, insights & CRM, payments, ads.
This role will report to the Manager, Merchant Sales, and it will be fully onsite in Grab Singapore office.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- Acquire and develop sales opportunities through a combination of channels, including but not limited to, referrals, networking, cold calls, and face-to-face meetings
- Diligently follow up and close sales opportunities
- Build a lasting relationship with restaurant decision makers to maintain the possibility of future sales
- Consult and recommend our products and services to restaurant decision makers while communicating the value of joining the Grab network
- Collate press materials to ensure that a restaurant is ready to go live on the various Grab distribution channels
- Work closely with the Operations and Marketing team to facilitate successful product adoption and partnerships by new clients
- Spearhead sales projects and initiate tactical strategies to improve team efficiency and capabilities, and drive incremental sales output
