Pathway to COO
We are hiring a Head of Operations to help build and scale a growing Singapore business serving households and families.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who is tech-savvy, operationally strong, systems-minded, and comfortable solving real ground-level problems. You should enjoy improving workflows, using digital tools to increase efficiency, and turning messy day-to-day operational issues into scalable processes.
You will work closely with the Founder / Director, with direct exposure to decision-making, business strategy, process design, service quality, and team coordination. For the right candidate, this role offers a clear growth pathway to COO as the business expands.
MEIDE is a Singapore business supporting households through cleaning, babysitting, and related family-support services.
What you will do
Oversee and improve day-to-day operations across service delivery and internal coordination
Build, refine and enforce efficient workflows, SOPs and escalation processes
Identify operational bottlenecks and implement practical solutions using technology, automation and process improvement
Support service quality, customer experience, staff coordination and issue resolution
Work closely with the Founder / Director on execution, planning and operational scale-up
Help strengthen internal systems, reporting, accountability and business efficiency
Use Google sheets, docs, and spreadsheet formulas, CRM tools, chat tools, and automations to improve turnaround time
Who we are looking for
Strong interest or experience in operations, systems-building, process improvement or business execution
Comfortable using technology, digital tools and structured workflows to improve efficiency
Organized, proactive and able to work independently with ownership
Strong communication and coordination skillsAble to balance strategy with hands-on execution
Experience in family services, household services, service operations, customer operations, or SME operations is a plus
Interest in improving services for Singapore households and families is valued

Operations Lead
With pathway to COO based on performance, business growth and leadership readiness.
Salary
$3,500 per month
CPF contribution provided
Probation*
1 month probation
During the first month, including training: $1,600
Negotiable for strong candidates*
Working Schedule
5.5-day work week with room for flexibility
Standard working hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Flexible 1-hour lunch break
Expected total of 44 working hours per week
Weekend coverage of 1 Saturday or Sunday is required as part of the roster
Designed for candidates who value both structure and flexibility, with adaptable working days and hours depending on operational needs
Overtime / Work Beyond Contracted Hours
As this is a managerial role, statutory overtime provisions under Part 4 of the Employment Act generally do not apply to managers and executives; any additional compensation or time-off arrangements will therefore be governed by the employment contract and company policy.
Location of Work
Home Office in South-West Singapore
Public Holiday Work
If work on a public holiday is required, compensation will be provided in accordance with the Employment Act and company policy, whether by additional salary payment or mutually agreed time off in lieu where applicable.
Leave and Benefits
Annual leave provided in accordance with the Employment Act, with company policy to apply where relevant. Employees covered by the Employment Act are entitled to annual leave after at least 3 months of service, with 7 days in the first year and pro-rating where applicable.
Paid sick leave / medical leave provided in accordance with the Employment Act and subject to eligibility. Paid sick leave starts after at least 3 months of service and is pro-rated between 3 and 6 months.
Maternity, paternity, childcare and other statutory leave entitlements apply subject to Singapore law and employee eligibility
