Job Descriptions:

• Conduct comprehensive eye exams to assess visual acuity, eye health, and detect refractive errors (e.g., myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism, presbyopia).

• Perform tests such as slit lamp examinations, tonometry (eye pressure), and fundus checks if equipment is available.

• Prescribe eyeglasses or contact lenses based on the customer's vision needs.

• Provide professional advice on eye health and visual needs.

• Educate customers on proper eye care, lens care, and contact lens hygiene.

• Address and manage common eye concerns (e.g., dry eyes, digital eye strain).

• Recommend suitable lens types, coatings, and frames according to lifestyle and usage (e.g., blue light lenses, progressive lenses).

• Work closely with the retail team to promote suitable optical products and packages.

• Assist in frame fitting and adjustment if needed.

• Stay updated on the latest lens technologies and promotions.

• Ensure optical equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.

• Monitor lens stock levels and help manage inventory related to eye care products.

Requirements:

• A recognized Diploma or Degree in Optometry.

• Registered with the Optometrists & Opticians Board (OOB) (Singapore).

• Willingness to work in a fast-paced retail environment.

• Sales-driven mindset and team player.
