Product Developer [Fashion Apparel / Design | Central | Up to 4.5k]

Responsibilities:

• Manage full sample development process from initial design to final product.
• Coordinate timelines and delivery schedules with manufacturers to ensure timely completion.
• Communicate daily with manufacturers and accurately translate design and fitting comments.
• Organise and conduct fit sessions to ensure consistency in fit, construction, and measurements.
• Take and verify accurate product measurements to maintain sizing standards.
• Liaise with manufacturers on sampling, revisions, and production requirements.
• Follow up with manufacturers outside regular hours when necessary to meet critical timelines.
• Coordinate with RFID vendors for accurate tagging directly from manufacturers.
• Participate in overseas trips (e.g., China factory visits and shoots) to support development and quality control.
• Assist in photoshoot styling and campaign activities to ensure accurate product representation.
• Create and prepare product listings with precise descriptions and measurements.
• Research market trends, fabrics, and designs to support new product development.
• Provide design and development insights to enhance product quality and appeal.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in fashion apparel or design-related field preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in the apparel industry and e-commerce.
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin for liaising with Mandarin-speaking manufacturers and stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of fashion trends and industry standards.
