About the Team:
The Clearing & Settlement plays a key role in the process of distributing the cost and revenue of marketplace orders to the participating stakeholders - buyers, sellers, Shopee platform and 3rd parties, based on the orders’ fulfilment result and the contractual agreements between the stakeholders. The core of it is escrow calculation and payout to sellers.
Job Description:
- Build comprehensive understanding of e-Commerce Clearing & Settlement products, on key business flows, use case scenarios and technical feasibility
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders from Product, Engineering, Design, Data, Finance and Operations to bring ideas to life
- Drive the product roadmap planning and project prioritisation. Effectively manage stakeholder expectations and project timeline
- Own the product development end to end, from ideation to rollout and from frontend UI to backend logics. Iterate and enhance features based on data insights and user feedback
- Conduct thorough market analysis to understand industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs. Drive operation efficiency by deeply understanding the business team's concerns and their workflow
- Drive and deliver holistic product solutions to address the key objectives of Clearing & Settlement domain, including but not limited to improve seller experience on income reconciliation, detect and mitigate marketplace financial risks, support government initiatives on regulatory compliance projects
Requirements:
- Final-year or Penultimate student currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or related disciplines
- Robust quantitative and qualitative reasoning skills and strong in logical and critical thinking
- Strong communication skills, able to independently drive complicated discussions and coordinate projects with multiple stakeholders
- Outstanding customer-centric design thinking with good business sense
- Strong in execution, well organized and able to multitask
- Result-oriented, self-starting, and possess a strong sense of ownership
- Possess a learner’s mindset, open minded on giving and receiving feedback
- Comfortable with ambiguity and able to adapt in an agile environment
- Frequent user of AI tools
- Full-time interns preferred
