1. RESPONSIBILITY
Project Management & Governance
- Own and manage the full project lifecycle: scope, schedule, and budget.
- Develop and maintain the master project plan, including WBS, key milestones, and deliverables.
- Facilitate meetings with both offshore and client teams.
- Proactively manage risks, dependencies, and change requests to maintain control over timelines and budget.
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary on-site contact with clients, working daily from the client’s office.
- Provide regular updates and reporting to clients and internal senior stakeholders.
- Manage clients' expectations across departments and seniority levels; resolve escalations swiftly.
- Gather feedback, negotiate priorities, and align roadmap changes as needed.
- Identify early signals for upsell and cross-sell opportunities in partnership with SmartOSC’s account team.
Team Coordination & Process Enablement
- Apply Agile, Scrum, or Hybrid delivery models depending on project needs.
- Support the offshore team with backlog prioritization, resource planning, and process coaching.
- Compliance & Security
- Ensure adherence to SmartOSC, The Client, and Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) compliance, security, and governance policies throughout the project.
2. REQUIREMENTS
Experience
- Minimum 5 years managing software projects; experience in banking/fintech.
- Hands‑on experience with Backbase or similar digital banking platforms (Temenos Infinity, Mambu, etc.) is highly preferred.

Knowledge & Skills
Solid grasp of SDLC, Agile/Scrum, DevOps, and change/risk management. - Understanding of core‑banking, payments, security (OAuth2, OpenID Connect), and cloud (AWS/Azure).
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to interpret technical documents, ask the right questions, and relay clear requirements to the Offshore development team.
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
- PMP®, PRINCE2®, or CSM® certification is a strong advantage.
Personal Attributes
- Willing to work full‑time on‑site in Singapore
- Cross‑cultural competence, “make‑it‑happen” attitude, and ability to thrive under pressure.
