About the Team:

Shopee will be prioritizing applicants who have a current right to work in Singapore, and do not require Shopee sponsorship of a visa.

Job Description:

• Participate in functional testing, regression testing, and production issue verification for E-commerce business modules (Checkout, Promotions, Payments, etc.) to ensure high product quality.


• Design test cases, execute tests, report and track bugs, and drive the resolution process to ensure all issues are tracked to closure.


• Engage in product requirement and design reviews, providing risk assessments and quality improvement suggestions from a QA perspective.


• Learn and adopt industry-standard testing tools, specifically exploring AI-driven techniques to improve quality and efficiency.


• Collaborate with the team to refine testing processes, enhance testing efficiency and delivery quality.

Requirements:

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronic Information, or related fields.


• Familiar with software testing theories, including test case design, bug management, and testing process.


• Basic programming ability, familiar with at least one coding language (Java, Python, Shell, C, or C++).


• Fundamental knowledge of networking and databases; ability to write basic SQL queries.


• Strong learning agility, detail-oriented, high sense of responsibility, and logical thinking. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. 


• Quality-driven mindset. Relevant internships, projects, competitions are highly preferred.

Good-to-have Qualifications

• Internship experience in QA or relevant academic projects.


• Familiarity with API testing (e.g., Postman, JMeter) or automated testing frameworks.


• Basic knowledge of Linux commands, log analysis, and troubleshooting.


• Strong interest and enthusiasm for E-commerce, Fintech, or Cross-border business domains.
