About the Team:
Our focus is on providing insights and analyses to support the leadership team in making sound decisions to develop our businesses – e-commerce and digital finance. As a Research Analyst, your analysis will play a critical role in supporting the team’s mandate.
Job Description:
- Conduct in-depth research across industries and companies, analysing market developments, competitive dynamics, financial performance, and emerging trends
- Gather and triangulate data from internal teams, industry reports, company disclosures, databases, and primary research
- Analyse complex datasets to uncover trends and generate actionable insights for decision-making
- Translate research findings and analysis into clear, concise reports and presentations for senior stakeholders
- Maintain research databases and knowledge resources to ensure insights and data remain current and accurate
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in any field; a Master’s degree would be advantageous but is not required
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in equity research, asset management, strategy consulting research, or in-house corporate development and strategy, preferably in the consumer internet sector
- Excellent research, data analysis, and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Highly driven and hard-working self-starter, focused on delivering high-quality results with efficiency and speed
