Retail and Operations Assistant

Company Overview

Singapore's first south asian Multi Designer platform showcases renowned and emerging designers through curated pop-ups, online sales, and in-person shopping at Studio Melange, located at Level 2 of Design Orchard in Singapore's fashion district. Melange is an omni channel business with 3 verticals- Events, E commerce and Retail.

This role will give the candidate the opportunity to not only get exposure in the retail space but there is learning in both e-commerce & Event Space.

Job Summary

You will oversee daily operations to ensure efficient workflow and exceptional customer experience, managing retail sales, vendor relations, inventory, and order fulfilment across online and offline channels for a multi-designer fashion platform.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end sales and order processes, including managing inventory at the studio and fulfilling online and offline orders to ensure seamless operations

• Manage relationships with international vendors to secure timely product deliveries and resolve customer inquiries efficiently

• Maintain accurate inventory records and generate invoices for sold and ordered goods, including month-end invoicing for international vendors

• Coordinate with the E-commerce Manager to arrange prompt delivery of studio and online orders within Singapore

• Respond promptly to customer inquiries via WhatsApp and in-person at the studio, addressing order questions, returns, and feedback to enhance customer satisfaction

• Collaborate with the founder to organize, set up, and execute offline pop-up events in Singapore and the region, ensuring smooth event operations

• Utilize Canva and Photoshop to support marketing and operational materials, and apply strong computer skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to support administrative tasks
