Operating since 1958, Chan Man Lee is one of Singapore's largest stockist, importer, and supplier of industrial hardware tools.

We specialise in drills, milling cutters, threading tools, grinding and cutting tools, abrasives, and several other precision engineering products. We have one of, if not the largest product selection in Singapore, we stock most of the entire catalogue span and can provide for niche specifications, which no other supplier can.

Working with Us

You'll be working with the main branch sales operations team at Little India, which is a team of 6. You will be handling the following responsibilities:

• Respond to inbound sales enquiries and quotation requests




• Fulfil customer orders by searching for the right items from the inventory




• Handle logistics and shipping




• Analyse past sales data and industry trends to recommend products for procurement




• Support e-commerce operations via photo taking and managing product descriptions




• No outbound sales necessary unless you specifically want to head such a project

Requirements:

• Basic IT literacy to use the digital inventory management system




• Basic spoken and written English




• Willingness to learn (most important!), we provide on-the-job training




• No prior sales experience required, as almost all of our sales are inbound




• Able to carry items weighing ~5kg due to weight of certain products

Good-to-haves, not requirements:

• Experience or interest in CNC and machining




• Experience or interest in our customers' industries (oil and gas, precision engineering, maritime, manufacturing)




• Knowledge of metals and material science might help




• Enjoy categorising things
