About the Role


PingPong is looking for an experienced Sales Director
to drive business growth in Singapore, Malaysia and other countries in APAC.
This role will focus on expanding PingPong’s cross-border payment solutions
among enterprises, fintechs, marketplaces, and digital platforms that require
global payment capabilities.


The Sales Director will play a key role in building
strategic client relationships, identifying new revenue opportunities, and
positioning PingPong as a leading cross-border payment partner in the region.


Key Responsibilities


Business Development & Revenue Growth



  • Drive new business acquisition and revenue growth for PingPong’s cross-border payment solutions in the region.

  • Identify and engage target clients including enterprises, marketplaces, fintechs, and digital platforms with cross-border payment needs.

  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and solution positioning to negotiation and deal closure.


Client Relationship Management



  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior decision-makers including CFOs, Heads of Payments, Treasury, and Finance leaders.

  • Act as a trusted advisor on cross-border payments, FX solutions, and global payment infrastructure.

  • Develop long-term strategic relationships with key clients.


Market Expansion



  • Identify high-potential industries and market segments in Singapore, Malaysia and other countries in APAC.

  • Develop localized go-to-market strategies to increase PingPong’s market presence.

  • Represent PingPong at relevant fintech and payments industry events.


Cross-Functional Collaboration



  • Work closely with product, solution engineering, and operations teams to design tailored solutions for clients.

  • Provide feedback from clients and the market to support product improvements and innovation.

  • Ensure solutions meet regulatory and compliance requirements across both markets.


Pipeline & Forecast Management



  • Maintain a strong sales pipeline and provide accurate revenue forecasting.

  • Track sales performance against targets and contribute to overall regional growth strategies.


Requirements




  • Minimum 8 years in fintech, payments, banking, financial services sales or cross-border trading / e-commerce, etc.

  • Proven experience selling cross-border payments, FX solutions, or payment infrastructure.

  • Strong knowledge of fintech and payments ecosystem.

  • Demonstrated track record of closing enterprise-level deals.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced fintech environment.


Preferred Qualifications



  • Experience working with payment platforms, cross-border payment providers, or fintech infrastructure companies.

  • Existing network with enterprises, fintechs, marketplaces, or financial institutions.

  • Experience selling B2B payment solutions or treasury solutions.
