Responsibilities;
- Identify, prospect, and acquire new customers through cold calling, networking, referrals, industry events, digital prospecting, and market intelligence.
- Develop and execute a structured sales plan to build and maintain a qualified sales pipeline sufficient to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Generate new RFQs, RFPs, and tender opportunities from targeted industries including Manufacturing, FMCG, Retail, Healthcare, Electronics, Automotive, and E-commerce.
- Conduct customer discovery meetings to understand operational requirements, pain points, and supply chain challenges.
- Qualify opportunities based on commercial viability, operational fit, and strategic alignment.
- Prepare and present compelling logistics solutions, warehouse proposals, pricing models, and value propositions tailored to customer requirements.
- Lead commercial negotiations and successfully convert opportunities into profitable long-term contracts.
- Conduct customer meetings, presentations, warehouse site visits, and solution discussions to understand the customer requirements.
- Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets for revenue, gross profit, and new customer acquisition.
- Update and manage the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system with customer information, sales activities, opportunities, and follow-up actions.
- Negotiate pricing and commercial terms within company guidelines to maximize profitability.
- Work closely with Customer Service, Operations, Finance, and Transport teams to ensure seamless implementation and onboarding of new customers.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure customer requirements translate into operationally feasible and cost-effective logistics solutions.
- Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies, contractual requirements, and ethical business practices.
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned.
Requirements:
[Must]
- Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience in Contract Logistics, Third-Party Logistics (3PL), Warehousing, Ecommerce fulfilment or Supply Chain Solutions.
- Proficiency in Japanese language to communicate with Japanese-speaking clients (both writing and speaking).
- Proven track record in acquiring new customers and achieving sales targets.
- Experience preparing tenders, RFQs, and logistics solution proposals.
- Knowledge of Singapore's logistics industry, warehousing operations, and transportation services.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM systems.
