Job Responsibilities:
1. SAP Business One Application Support
- Provide day-to-day support for SAP Business One users across all departments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve SAP B1 issues related to sales, purchasing, inventory, production, finance, and service modules.
- Monitor system performance and ensure business transactions are processed accurately and efficiently.
- Investigate and resolve system errors, data inconsistencies, and user-reported issues.
- Manage support tickets and ensure timely resolution of incidents and service requests.
2. SAP Business One Development and Customization
- Develop and maintain SAP B1 add-ons, customizations, and enhancements based on business requirements.
- Create and modify SAP B1 queries, formatted searches, user-defined fields (UDFs), user-defined tables (UDTs), and user-defined objects (UDOs).
- Develop reports using Crystal Reports and SAP B1reporting tools.
- Support database development and optimization using Microsoft SQL Server or SAP HANA.
- Implement system improvements to enhance business processes and operational efficiency.
3. SAP Business One Integration and API Development
- Develop and maintain integrations between SAP Business One and third-party applications.
- Support SAP B1 Service Layer, DI API, Integration Framework (B1if), and other integration technologies.
- Develop and maintain APIs for data exchange with external systems such as e-commerce platforms, WMS, CRM, payroll, and manufacturing systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration-related issues and data synchronization errors.
4. System Administration and Maintenance
- Assist in SAP B1 upgrades, patches, and system enhancements.
- Support user account administration, authorization setup, and security management.
- Perform system health checks and monitor scheduled jobs and interfaces.
- Coordinate with SAP partners and vendors for issue resolution and technical support.
5. Testing and Documentation
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for new developments and enhancements.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, support procedures, and user guides.
- Document system changes, configurations, and development activities.
6. Business Process Improvement
- Work closely with business users to understand operational requirements and challenges.
- Recommend and implement solutions to improve efficiency, data accuracy, and automation.
- Participate in SAP B1 projects, process optimization initiatives, and digital transformation activities.
Job Requirements:
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- SAP-related certifications (e.g., SAP Integration Suite, SAP BTP, SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI) are an advantage.
Experience Level
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in SAP integration and API development.
- Proven experience developing and consuming RESTful and SOAP APIs.
- Experience integrating SAP systems with third-party applications, cloud platforms, and enterprise systems.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of SAP Integration Suite (CPI), SAP PI/PO, or middleware technologies.
- Experience with SAP Gateway and OData Services development.
- Proficiency in API design, development, testing, and documentation.
- Knowledge of REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, OAuth 2.0, JWT, and API security best practices.
- Familiarity with SAP BTP services and cloud integration concepts.
- Understanding of SAP IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, and Web Services.
- Experience with API management platforms and monitoring tools.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization.
