Job Summary
Do you want to lead marketing and commercial plans for one of our billion-dollar brands? The Senior Brand Manager (Korea Market) identifies business opportunities and works with the multi-functional team to build cohesive commercial plans! You are expected to lead and collaborate with different subject matter experts to deliver end-to-end plans for Korea via qualifying communication ideas, adjusting portfolio pricing and identifying shopping barriers and opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams to identify Korean consumers’ needs and translate insights into product packaging and formula recommendations for Research & Development and technical teams to win local consumers
- Design and execute consumer research initiatives to develop qualified brand concepts, benefits, and claims that address unmet needs in the Korean market
- Manage relationships with Korean local partners, stakeholders, and suppliers to drive P&G business initiatives and ensure alignment with market goals
- Direct creative agencies to develop culturally relevant communication ideas and oversee TV copy production tailored for Korean consumers
- Develop and deploy fit-for-use marketing toolkits, including copy, print materials, digital i-banners, social and eCommerce content, sampling trials, in-store activations, and demos, guiding the Korea delivery team for effective execution
- Coordinate with R&D and Consumer Research teams to qualify products and packaging through rigorous testing processes
- Craft and implement promotion and pricing strategies alongside customer and distributor trade terms in collaboration with the local trade team
- Collaborate with technical teams to optimize supply chain solutions that manage product costs within affordable levels
Role Requirements
- A Bachelor's/Master's Degree
- Business proficiency in the Korean language to effectively understand and engage with local consumers and market dynamics
- Strong market knowledge of Korea to develop brand equity and marketing strategies tailored to the Korea Market
- At least 1.5 years of experience working in the FMCG industry for the Korea market
- Forward-thinking, strategic, and courageous leadership skills
- Strengths in strategic and analytical thinking to drive innovation and brand growth
- Strong communication and team collaboration capabilities
