As a Senior Business Development Manager (Merchant Acquiring), you will be responsible for the following duties:
Responsible for driving merchant acquisition, building strategic partnerships and expanding payment acceptance solutions across multiple channels to support revenue growth and market expansion.
Lead end-to-end merchant acquisition activities, including prospecting, pitching, negotiation, contracting, and onboarding.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with merchants, Payment Service Providers (PSPs), banks, aggregators, and other payment ecosystem partners.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities across POS, QR payments, e-commerce/online payments, and alternative payment methods.
Achieve and exceed assigned revenue, transaction volume, and merchant acquisition targets.
Collaborate closely with Operations, Risk, Compliance, and Product teams to ensure seamless onboarding and effective merchant lifecycle management.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies to enhance competitive positioning and drive growth initiatives.
Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals, pricing structures, and commercial agreements.
Support strategic initiatives such as new payment channel launches, cross-border acquiring expansion, and value-added service offerings.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or related field.
Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience.
Proven B2B sales, merchant acquisition, or strategic partnership track record.
Knowledge of acquiring models (MDR, interchange, scheme fees), POS, QR, e-commerce, and alternative payments.
