Role Summary
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in email marketing and CRM, understands how to turn leads into conversions through personalised, segmented communication, and can confidently execute email strategies that scale.
You’ll be responsible for driving measurable results through lead engagement, nurturing flows, and campaign automation — while owning the tech stack, A/B testing, and CRM hygiene across ActiveCampaign.
Key Responsibilities
Own and execute full-funnel email strategies — from lead onboarding flows to course remarketing, drop-off reactivation, and alumni re-engagement.
Build, optimise, and maintain CRM flows in ActiveCampaign, including lead scoring, segmentation, tagging, and automation logic.
Develop and manage the email marketing calendar, aligning with product launch timelines, promotions, and event campaigns.
Write and test high-performing email subject lines, copy, and creative variations to increase open rates, CTR, and CVR.
Conduct regular A/B testing of creatives, send times, messaging, and CTAs to continuously improve performance.
Collaborate closely with the growth, design and sales to align messaging with campaign goals.
Monitor email KPIs (open rate, click-through rate, conversion rate, unsubscribe rate, revenue per email) and report weekly on performance and optimisation opportunities.
Ensure compliance with PDPA, SSG guidelines, and email marketing best practices.
Help identify list growth opportunities and manage email hygiene and deliverability.
Stay updated on AI tools, automation strategies, and best-in-class lead nurturing practices.
Tools You'll Use
ActiveCampaign (CRM, email flows, automation)
Slack (internal communication)
Asana (campaign planning & workflow)
AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, etc. for content scaling and testing)
Google Analytics (email performance tracking)
Requirements
2–4 years of hands-on experience in email marketing, CRM strategy, or lifecycle marketing
Proven track record of improving open rates, CTR, CVR, and email-attributed revenue
Proficient in ActiveCampaign (or similar email service providers with automation, segmentation, and lead scoring features)
Strong data-driven mindset — able to segment databases, personalise content, and design workflows that align with customer journeys
Skilled in A/B testing creatives, subject lines, CTAs, and send times to maximise performance
Confident in writing and optimising email copy that converts across cold leads, warm nurtures, and alumni reactivation
Familiar with Slack, Asana, and agile marketing workflows in fast-paced teams
Bonus: Experience in EdTech or direct-to-consumer (DTC) brands.
Experience with API integrations (e.g., using Zapier to connect Typeform, Meta Lead Ads, Google Leads, and other platforms for seamless lead flow automation).
