The Business Development and Partnerships teams at Shopee are dynamic and energetic. The teams are always looking to acquire business opportunities to drive Shopee to be the No. 1 e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia and Taiwan. The aim of the Business Development and Partnership teams is to provide Shopee’s buyers with a wide variety of product listings at the best prices.
Job Description:
- Lead regional business growth strategies for priority brand partners across the Shopee ecosystem
- Develop and drive collaborative business plans through data-driven insights, category performance analysis, and alignment with broader commercial objectives
- Work closely with local market teams to diagnose business challenges, uncover growth levers, and formulate actionable plans for strategic accounts
- Analyse category trends and performance metrics to identify opportunities across assortment, pricing, and marketing, translating insights into scalable growth initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including marketing, operations, and product teams to deliver impactful commercial solutions and strengthen partner success
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and executive leadership across internal and external teams to influence strategic direction and key business decisions
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in any field; A master’s degree is advantageous but not required
- At least 4 years of working experience managing external brand partners, key accounts, or strategic commercial relationships
- Minimally 2 years of experience in e-commerce, FMCG, beauty, and/or consumer-related industries
- Strong business acumen, critical thinking and ability to form actionable insights and recommendations using advanced analytical skills
- Excellent organisational, analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills; able to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders
- Proficiency in data analysis and modelling will be an advantage
- Good team player, positive attitude and eager to learn
- Willingness to take on hands-on, day-to-day operational work to gain a deeper understanding and drive progress
