About the role
Senior Marketing Executive / Assistant Brand Manager role involves independently managing assigned brands and taking ownership of their day-to-day business and marketing performance. You will develop and execute annual and quarterly brand and marketing plans in alignment with business objectives and sales targets, while monitoring brand performance, sales trends, distribution, promotional effectiveness and market developments.
Key responsibilities
Independently manage assigned brands and take ownership of their day-to-day business and marketing performance
Develop and execute annual and quarterly brand and marketing plans in alignment with business objectives and sales targets
Monitor brand performance, sales trends, distribution, promotional effectiveness and market developments, and recommend appropriate action plans
Plan and execute marketing campaigns, trade promotions, product launches, sampling activities, roadshows, atrium events and other brand activations
Manage end-to-end trade execution, including POSM planning, production, deployment, retailer coordination and post-activity follow-up
Develop promotional mechanics and activation plans together with the Business Manager and Sales team to support sales objectives
Ensure strong and consistent brand visibility and execution across retail and e-commerce channels
Proactively identify issues and opportunities and drive follow-up with minimal supervision
Plan, monitor and manage A&P budgets for assigned brands to ensure spending is within approved budgets
Prepare proposals, presentations, business reviews and updates for principals
About you
Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related discipline
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant FMCG marketing experience, with hands-on brand management experience
Proven experience independently managing or co-managing brands, including brand planning, A&P management, trade marketing and performance analysis
Strong understanding of FMCG retail, trade marketing, promotions and in-store execution
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales and market data and translate findings into actionable plans
Good project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple brands and projects simultaneously
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Proactive, resourceful and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
