The Role

MajorForm is looking for a Social Media Videographer to help us produce high-performing short-form content across TikTok / Reels / Shorts—filming, editing, and packaging videos that are built for retention (hooks, pacing, storytelling, clarity).

What You’ll Do

Pre-production:

  • Translate briefs into shoot plans: shot lists, simple storyboards, and production checklists.

  • Coordinate shoot schedules with the team (studio bookings, talent timing, props/product readiness).

  • Prepare gear and setup plans (lighting/audio framing) based on format and platform.

Production (Shoot Days):

  • Film short-form content efficiently in-studio and on-location (talking head, product demo, lifestyle, UGC-style).

  • Direct on-camera talent with clear guidance to get natural, usable takes fast.

  • Capture clean audio and consistent visuals (framing, exposure, continuity).

Post-production (Editing):

  • Edit short-form videos with strong pacing: hook-first structure, clean cuts, captions/subtitles, simple motion elements.

  • Deliver platform-ready exports (TikTok / IG / YT specs), organised and on time.

  • Maintain an asset library (raw footage, project files, templates) with proper naming and version control.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong short-form portfolio (TikTok/Reels/Shorts) that shows storytelling + retention fundamentals.

  • Comfortable filming and editing end-to-end (you don’t need to be a “cinema DP”, but you must be reliable and fast).

  • Solid editing skills in CapCut Pro (Da Vinci Resolve/ Final Cut/ Adobe Premier in addition to CapCut Pro will be a plus).

  • Must own your own camera. (Sony Preferred)

  • Strong eye for composition, lighting basics, and clean audio.

  • Organised, accountable, and calm under production pressure.

Bonus:

  • Experience working with brands (agency, e-commerce, social commerce, or creator teams).

  • Familiarity with studio workflows (, Google Workspace)

  • Ability to shoot simple product photography / thumbnails when needed.

Commitment & Structure

  • Full-time preferred (consistent output + fast iteration loops).

  • On-site role with shoot schedules that vary weekly (mix of studio days + occasional client shoots).

  • Initial 6 Months Contract

  • This role is hands-on: you’ll be in-studio regularly, and occasionally on-location for client shoots. If there are on-location client shoots on the weekends, off-in-lieus will be provided!

  • Opportunity to expand scope into lead videographer / production lead as we scale.

Why Join Us?

  • You’ll work on content that’s built to perform—not just “look nice.”

  • High volume, high learning curve: you’ll get better fast.

  • Real creative ownership: your decisions on pacing, hooks, and structure will directly shape outcomes.

  • To apply, contact us and send a link to your relevant portfolio.
