Position Overview

We are seeking a results-driven Sourcing & Procurement Specialist / Manager to oversee and optimise the company’s sourcing, procurement, and supplier management functions. This role is responsible for identifying reliable suppliers, negotiating commercial terms, ensuring cost efficiency, and maintaining supply continuity to support business growth.


The ideal candidate has strong sourcing experience, excellent negotiation skills, and a solid understanding of procurement processes across domestic and international supply chains. Experience in e-commerce, retail, or consumer goods environments will be a strong advantage. The candidate may also be directly involved in supply chain, logistics, warehousing, and inventory operations, ensuring seamless coordination across the procurement and operational cycle.


Key Responsibilities
Sourcing & Supplier Management

a. Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with business and operational requirements.


b. Identify, evaluate, onboard, and manage suppliers across relevant product categories.


c. Build and maintain long-term relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and competitive pricing.


d. Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and manage corrective actions where required.


e. Monitor market trends, supplier capabilities, and potential supply risks.


Procurement Operations

a. Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including RFQs/RFPs, supplier selection, purchase orders, and delivery coordination.


b. Lead commercial and contract negotiations to secure favourable pricing, payment terms, and service level agreements (SLAs).


c. Ensure procurement activities comply with internal policies and relevant regulatory requirements.


d. Maintain accurate procurement documentation, contracts, and records.


Cost Control & Optimization

a. Perform spend analysis and cost benchmarking to identify savings and efficiency opportunities.


b. Work closely with cross-functional teams and Finance to manage procurement budgets and track cost savings.


c. Drive continuous improvement initiatives in sourcing and procurement processes.


Supply Chain & Operations Involvement

a. Be directly involved in and work closely with supply chain, logistics, warehousing, and inventory operations to ensure smooth coordination, optimal stock levels, and timely deliveries.


b. Support inventory planning by aligning procurement timelines with demand forecasts and stock requirements.


c. Monitor logistics performance, lead times, and inventory turnover to minimise disruptions and excess stock.


Cross-Functional Collaboration

a. Collaborate with internal teams such as Operations, E-commerce, Product, Finance, and Logistics to align sourcing needs with business objectives.


b. Provide procurement expertise and recommendations to support product launches, promotions, and operational planning.
