(A)Store Manager

As the Store Manager of Yuewen’s first flagship retail store in Singapore, you will oversee all aspects of store operations, sales performance, team management, and brand experience.

The store focuses on designer collectibles and lifestyle merchandise inspired by Yuewen’s most popular IPs, bringing creative storytelling into everyday retail experiences.


Responsibilities:

Store Operations & Sales Management

  • Oversee daily store operations and ensure sales and performance targets are met.

  • Develop and execute annual and monthly business plans aligned with HQ strategy.

  • Ensure operational excellence in inventory, visual merchandising, and cash handling.

  • Optimize store layout and sales strategy to enhance customer conversion and productivity.

  • Analyze sales data, customer insights, and KPIs, and prepare regular reports for HQ.

Team Leadership & Training

  • Recruit, train, schedule, and motivate the sales team to achieve business goals.

  • Foster a positive, customer-centric, and results-oriented team culture.

  • Conduct regular product and brand storytelling training to strengthen brand advocacy.

Customer Experience & Brand Engagement

  • Deliver a high-quality customer experience consistent with Yuewen’s brand values.

  • Plan and execute in-store events, product launches, and pop-up activations.

  • Engage customers through creativity and meaningful brand storytelling.

Collaboration & Brand Promotion

  • Work closely with marketing teams on cross-brand collaborations and community events.

  • Support promotional initiatives that enhance brand visibility and recognition.


Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of retail management experience, preferably in lifestyle, designer, or creative brand environments.

  • Strong understanding of sales operations, inventory control, and P&L management.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin (to liaise with China HQ and local partners).

  • Singapore Citizen preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in store setup, brand launch, or new retail concept development.

  • Passion for designer toys, art, or IP collectibles.


(B)Assistant Store Manager

As the Assistant Store Manager, you will support the Store Manager in daily operations, sales execution, team supervision, and customer experience.

You will play a key role in bringing Yuewen’s creative IPs and storytelling culture to life in its first designer collectible flagship store in Singapore.


Responsibilities:

Store Operations & Sales Support

  • Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations and achieving sales targets.

  • Monitor product display, stock levels, and replenishment processes.

  • Maintain store presentation, cleanliness, and adherence to brand standards.

  • Support the implementation of sales strategies to improve customer engagement and conversion.

Team Leadership & Training

  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and on-the-job training for new team members.

  • Motivate and guide the sales team to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

  • Act as the person-in-charge when the Store Manager is away, ensuring smooth operations.

Customer Experience & Brand Activation

  • Provide personalized and professional service to customers, sharing Yuewen’s IP stories and product concepts.

  • Assist in organizing and executing in-store promotions, new product launches, and brand collaborations.

  • Gather customer feedback and insights to help enhance store performance.

Coordination & Reporting

  • Coordinate with HQ and local partners to ensure consistent retail standards.

  • Track and report on sales performance, KPIs, and operational updates.


Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 years of retail or supervisory experience, preferably in lifestyle, designer, or creative brand environments.

  • Strong sense of responsibility and ability to lead by example.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin (to liaise with China HQ and local partners).

  • Singapore Citizen preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in event coordination, store setup

  • Passion for designer toys, art, or IP collectibles.
