The Global E-commerce Governance & Experience (GNE) team safeguards TikTok Shop by ensuring a safe, fair, and trustworthy marketplace for users, sellers, and creators. We build comprehensive governance strategies, detect and assess risks, enforce policy with integrity, and protect all customers to enable sustainable and responsible business growth.
To embrace technological transformation, we are driving an ambitious end-to-end AI governance modernization to be achieved by the end of 2026—covering the entire lifecycle from Risk sensing & definition → Risk assessment & enforcement → Violation Messaging → Seller/creator appeals → RCA & strategy optimization. Leveraging LLMs and AI Agents, we are redefining how governance operates, significantly increasing automation, improving decision quality, and elevating organizational efficiency.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualification(s)
1. Strong Bachelor's degree and above, preferably in relevant majors such as Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, etc.
2. Strong proficiency in Python development, with solid fundamentals in system design and clean coding practices.
3. Familiarity with major Large Language Models (LLMs) such as GPT, Claude, and Llama, along with hands-on experience using their APIs, prompt engineering, or Agent development.
4. Experience in LLM Tool Calling, Agent task decomposition, or multi-Agent system design is preferred.
5. Strong cross-team communication and collaboration skills; ability to quickly understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
Preferred Qualification(s)
1. Understanding of core e-commerce governance concepts (risk detection, content review, appeals handling, re-evaluation, root-cause analysis); relevant project experience is a plus.
