ROLE PURPOSE
The Trade Marketing Associate execute marketing plans and programmes consisting mainly of above-the-line/below-the-line activities which are designed to increase the effectiveness of the sales and marketing effort in accordance with established corporate and divisional objectives.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Plan and execute marketing and advertising activities and ensure that the advertising material complies with standards set by the Company, media and other bodies of authorities, meet production schedule and is within budget.
Communicate and coordinate with Commercial & Operations in the execution of promotional activities to obtain high level of commitment from all parties and ensure consistency in implementation standards.
Develop, compile and maintain accurate, detailed and up-to-date campaign performance adopting analysis-based approach that includes feedback on activities through all platforms. New promotion campaigns should incorporate analysis to drive activities and actions to counter market competitions
Respond to specific store/ cluster needs with respect to market pressures by identifying the needs, prepare proposals and present to appropriate team
Work closely with external agencies, suppliers, media, landlords and partners in execution of activities.
Prepare marketing reports and assist in administrative duties
Execute promotional activities, campaigns, and events to support product launches, seasonal promotions etc
REQUIREMENT AND QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Advertising, or Mass Communications.
Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience in marketing.
Experience in retail, FMCG, or advertising agency is desirable.
Excellent proficiency in written and spoken English.
Independent, meticulous, and creative, with strong organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and perform well in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines.
Well-organized, team-oriented, and strong interpersonal skills.
Confident with a proactive attitude and ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
