Werms.Inc is an insect farm that upcycles food waste into insect protein for the pet feed industry and fertiliser for plant hobbyists. We provide live pet feed and conduct frequent workshops/events to educate consumers on our food waste situation and the sustainable use of insects.
Job Description
As part of our team, you are required to:
- Manage our E-commerce and Webstore
- Schedule deliveries with couriers through the system.
- Conduct workshops and learning journeys for children at various locations
- Assist in hosting visitors and schools for the Desaru farm tour
- Capture photos and videos for social media
- Content creation for social media posts
- Opportunity to be assigned to assist in special projects - E.g. repurposing underutilised spaces or building large-scale paludarium/vivariums
The right candidate should possess the following:
- Strong sense of responsibility, high standards of quality and expectations.
- Fine workmanship, meticulous, and good with delicate hands-on work.
- Enjoy teaching and engaging people
- Loves sustainability and community building
