Vice President of Operations

Job Summary

Coordinate corporate strategy implementation, optimise operational frameworks, and lead refined management practices to drive profitability and efficiency in the gold and jewellery sector.

Responsibilities

· Translate medium- to long-term corporate strategies into actionable operational metrics and drive their implementation across the organisation

· Establish and optimise standardised operating procedures (SOP) to improve operational consistency and end-to-end efficiency

· Monitor core business metrics and conduct in-depth analysis to enhance profitability, reduce costs, and improve operational efficiency

· Coordinate cross-departmental collaboration among Marketing, Sales, Product, and Logistics teams to resolve operational issues and ensure seamless business unit integration

· Assist senior leadership in formulating business plans aligned with strategic goals

Required competencies and certifications

· Bachelor’s degree or higher

· Over 8 years of experience in corporate operations management

· Proven management experience at VP or Director level

· At least 5 years’ experience in the gold and jewellery sector with expertise in gold retail, e-commerce, and senior management roles

Preferred competencies and qualifications

· Exceptional strategic planning and business acumen demonstrated through data-driven decision-making

· Thorough understanding of supply chain management systems applied to optimise operations

· Strong leadership, decision-making, and execution skills to drive cross-departmental communication and resolve complex conflicts

· Deep knowledge of gold and jewellery industry operational dynamics and ability to identify emerging trends
