Introduction


As our Video Editor, you will bring Ask & Embla’s brand and products to life through visually compelling video content across multiple platforms. You will transform raw footage into polished, engaging videos for campaigns, product highlights, social media, and digital marketing, ensuring every piece is on-brand and optimized for performance. Collaborating closely with creative, marketing, and product teams, you will craft dynamic stories that capture attention, showcase jewelry details, and strengthen our visual identity.


What You'll Do


Edit high-quality video content for various Ask & Embla marketing initiatives, including:

  • Product highlights and features for website and product pages.

  • Promotional videos for new collections, product launches, and seasonal campaigns.

  • Social media content optimized for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.

  • Email marketing videos and website hero videos.



Who You Are



  • Proven experience as a Video Editor, specifically with a portfolio showcasing e-commerce, beauty, fashion, or luxury brand video content.

  • Expert proficiency in industry-standard video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).

  • Strong understanding of visual storytelling and pacing for short-form, high-impact marketing videos.

  • Exceptional eye for detail, aesthetics, and composition, with a keen understanding of how to showcase jewelry's intricate features.

  • Solid grasp of color theory, color correction, and color grading to maintain brand consistency and highlight product brilliance.

  • Proficiency in audio editing and sound design for clean, professional audio.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects with tight deadlines.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to take constructive feedback.

  • Experience with motion graphics and animation (e.g., Adobe After Effects) to create engaging titles, lower thirds, and product animations, is preferred.

  • Familiarity with photography principles and how they relate to video, is preferred.

  • Passion for jewelry, fashion, or luxury goods, is preferred.
