Visual Merchandising Executive

Job Description:

1.        Visual Merchandising:

• Design VM plans for management approval and creates shop visuals for all local campaigns;

• Plan and execute VM and store display activities in accordance with company standards and guidelines to maintain brand image across all stores;

• Work alongside the Sales Operations team to ensure timely and effective execution of store set-ups to ensure consistency and high standards in all areas of VM;

• Initiate innovative merchandising techniques to maintain freshness in brand visuals;

• Keep abreast of market trends to ensure competitiveness.

2.       Graphic Design:

• Brief and advise the Sales Operations and Marketing teams about shop visuals’ design styles, formats, print production, and timescales;

• Develop concepts, graphics, and layouts for physical shop visuals, garment printing, social media posts, online marketplaces, and websites;

• Arrange production of illustrative material;

• Review final layouts and suggest improvements if required;

3.        Communication:

• Liaise with the Marketing and Creative teams to ensure required components and production materials are provided to meet its pre-set budget levels and are warehoused/recycled appropriately;

• Ensure weekly communication with the Sales Operations team on visual directives issues and challenges;

• Conduct weekly store visits to ensure VM compliance consistency and excellence in execution;

• Provide monthly work-schedule and weekly photos of the window and in-store set-ups;

• Conduct in-store VM Inductions;

• Coach, mentor, and motivate sales teams on all aspects of Visual Merchandising including merchandise analysis;

• Prepare and facilitate visual training workshops to ensure all shop-in-charge are up to date with VM directives

Requirements:

• Diploma / Certificate in Visual Merchandising

• 2 to 3 years relevant experience

• Strong organizational & time management skills for maximum efficiency during store visits

• Good communication skills

• Attention to details and ability to multitask

• Knowledge of Microsoft, Photoshop, Illustrator
