Description

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Item receipt: to liaise with forwarder to confirm receiving package count and sign off in good condition.

  • Storing: ensure the items or goods are placed in the proper location.

  • Order fulfillment: Pick and pack customer orders from e-commerce platforms accurately and efficiently.

  • Packaging: Ensure products are packed correctly and securely in appropriate packaging before shipment. Example: Stretch film the pallets.

  • Shipping coordination: Liaise with courier companies to arrange for timely pickup and dispatch of orders.

  • Inventory management: Perform daily stock checks, update inventory records, and manage inbound/outbound goods.

  • Warehouse operations: Assist with loading/unloading goods, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and support general warehouse duties as needed. 

Ÿ  To perform any other duties assigned by supervisor from time to time.


Job Requirements

 

  • O Levels or equivalent.

 

  • Previous warehouse or packing experience a plus but not required.

 

  • Attention to detail: Crucial for accuracy in picking the correct items and quantities.

  • Physical stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/handle goods.

  • Efficiency: Capable of working at a fast pace to meet shipping deadlines.

  • Teamwork: Ability to collaborate with other warehouse staff for efficient workflow.

  • Organization: Strong time management skills to keep track of orders and inventory.

  • Computer skills: MS Office and ability to use an e-commerce system to update order status and perform data entry. 

  • Varied tasks: In addition to picking and packing, you may be asked to assist with receiving stock, quality checks, and other warehouse tasks.
